Class Detail

Laboratory experience in organic chemistry associated with CHEM 8B. Designed to introduce the student to the many techniques associated with organic chemistry while affording an opportunity to explore the concepts discussed in the lecture material. Laboratory: 4 hours, lecture: 1-1/4 hours.

Prerequisite(s): CHEM 8A and CHEM 8L and previous or concurrent enrollment in CHEM 8B is required.

All students: The official wait lists for courses with required, co-requisite, credit-bearing labs are based on the wait lists for the lab sections only. Wait list the lab section first.
You cannot enroll in the lecture until you have successfully been enrolled in the co-requisite lab section. Enroll in the lecture portion of the course after you are enrolled in the lab.
