Description
Offers students the opportunity to conduct experimental inquiry in the field of social medicine and to supplement the knowledge acquired in LALS 56, The Right to Health. The optional laboratory guides students through contemporary issues and debates in Latin American Social Medicine. Through a scaffolded approach, students research a current health issue in Latin America and design a collaborative original proposal to address it informed by perspectives in social medicine.

Prerequisite(s): concurrent enrollment in LALS 56.
