Introduction to electricity and magnetism. Electromagnetic radiation, Maxwell's equations.

Prerequisite(s): PHYS 5A and MATH 19B or MATH 20B. Concurrent enrollment in PHYS 5N is required.

Enroll in the lecture and associated discussion section.
All students - If you completed the prerequisites but get an error message, email your proof of prerequisite material to the department at physicsadvising@ucsc.edu for approval to enroll.
If you need the PHYS 5N lab and it is full, waitlist the lab section first. You cannot enroll in the lecture until you have successfully enrolled in the co-requisite lab section. Enroll in the lecture portion of the course after you have enrolled in the lab.
If you DO NOT have the prerequisite material, please contact the instructor--Barun Dhar, bdhar@ucsc.edu-- for permission to enroll in their class.
