Description
For all interested students as well as prospective economics majors. Examines how markets allocate resources in different kinds of economies. Topics include competitive markets, monopoly, financial markets, income distribution, market failures, the environment, and the role of government.
Class Notes
From the instructor: One meeting over Zoom will be required per week (5 total/real-time meetings).
Students will have the option of attending with the instructor or the TA, and will have several to choose from each week.
Students will be surveyed to identify the best times for the meeting that also meet with the instructor's and TA's schedules.
