Awareness and extension of personal movement repertoire, through observation, movement experience, and exploration.
Class Notes
This summer, the Movement for Performers course will focus on developing the actor's instrument, utilizing Meyerhold's Biomechanics and Viewpoints among other rigorous and playful physical theatre approaches. Students will train to develop presence, awareness, responsiveness, range of motion, spontaneity, and precision, utilizing diverse texts and music to develop short devised theatre pieces.
