Class Notes
Enrollment is restricted to first-year college members. Students must be comfortable in conversational Spanish. Please, email instructor Carolina Gonzalez at fgonza19@ucsc for more information about this unique opportunity. This Fall, Crown College is proud to offer a Global Classrooms version of our CROWN 1 in partnership with the Universidad Distrital Francisco Jose de Caldas, in Bogota, Colombia. To promote our student?s cultural fluency, the opportunity to learn from different points of view and gain international experience. Crown students will be teaming up with UD acting and theater directing students interested in learning about technologies' global impact. Students from both institutions will have some joint sessions/activities. These discussions and activities will be conducted in Spanish and follow Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) best practices. So, this version of Core, while conducted in English, will require oral fluency in Spanish.
