Description

Provides the opportunity to practice the creation of novel computer games. Students learn a new game-making technology, then create three games using this technology. May be repeated for credit.

Enrollment Requirements

Prerequisite(s): CMPM 120 and CMPM 80K.

Class Notes

The schedule will vary - Weeks 1-2 meet three times per week, week 3 meets two times per week, and weeks 4-5 meet one time per week.
Topic: Smart Cities. The course introduces the topic of smart cities and their components from an interdisciplinary socio-technical perspective. Through the course, you will examine how smart cities emerged with the goal of creating more efficient (and sustainable) cities. We will cover and discuss case studies from across the world: USA, UAE, Germany, ?etc. and we will open the discussion on the currently growing criticisms against smart cities and their ethics.
