Laboratory experience in organic chemistry associated with CHEM 8B. Designed to introduce the student to the many techniques associated with organic chemistry while affording an opportunity to explore the concepts discussed in the lecture material. Laboratory: 4 hours, lecture: 1-1/4 hours.

Prerequisite(s): CHEM 8A and CHEM 8L and previous or concurrent enrollment in CHEM 8B is required.

Lab space is limited and enrollment priority is given to UCSC students May 1 - 2. Permission numbers for visiting students to enroll or join the waitlist will be emailed starting May 3 morning.
