Description
For all interested students as well as prospective economics majors. Examines how markets allocate resources in different kinds of economies. Topics include competitive markets, monopoly, financial markets, income distribution, market failures, the environment, and the role of government.
Class Notes
This course is taught remotely. Students must attend a livestream class meeting on either Thursdays from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM or Thursdays from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Students will need to take their exams on Thursdays between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Mandatory secondary section enrollment is required.
