Description
Introduces the practices of drawing and painting in combination with the formal vocabulary of the visual arts. A discussion of values, form, color, and figure/ground relationships enters into each class. Students are billed for a materials fee.
Enrollment Requirements
Prerequisite(s): two courses from ART 10D, ART 10E, ART 10F. Enrollment is restricted to proposed art and art majors.
Class Notes
All students - prerequisites and restrictions lifted in summer. Art studios meet 12 hours per week and require 18 hours work per week outside of class. It is not advisable to take more than one studio in a session. No materials fee this summer.
