OpenDescription
Theory and practice of improvisation in the performing arts with an emphasis on acting improvisation techniques. Readings and films develop a theoretical and historical understanding of spontaneous invention on stage. Students attend area theater improvisational performances.
Class Notes
No prior experience with improv required, but you do need a Webcam and internet connection.
Students can take both 41I and 141W for in-depth experience and skill building! 41I is not a prerequisite for 141W in summer - students can take either one (or both).
