Description

Focuses on a particular process or subject used in the production of a literary text. Course is intended to work as a bridge between invention and scholarship. Course topic changes; please see the Class Search for current topic. Critical approach designation: Genres. May be repeated for credit.

Enrollment Requirements

Enrollment is restricted to creative writing literature majors.

Class Notes

Special Session Dates - class meets June 22 through July 3. From the instructor: This course asks students to experiment and play in some radical ways to create and encounter poetry through a distinct set of performance practices: improvisation and spoken word, movement, sound, and visual practices as a way to encounter, create, and animate their own writing. All Students - restrictions lifted in summer. Contact summer@ucsc.edu for permission code to enroll.
