Class Detail

Laboratory experience in organic chemistry associated with CHEM 8A. Designed to introduce the student to the many techniques associated with organic chemistry while affording an opportunity to explore the concepts discussed in the lecture material. Laboratory: 4 hours, lecture: 1-1/4 hours. Students are billed a materials fee.

Prerequisite(s): CHEM 1C and CHEM 1N and previous or concurrent enrollment in CHEM 8A is required.

After enrolling in 8L, contact summer@ucsc.edu if you need an add code for 8M. Enroll in lab and associated secondary lab. Students are billed a $35 materials fee.
