The Photography Field Research Quarter (PFRQ) is a 10 unit class that takes place entirely in the field. The PFRQ is a rigorous and intensive study in field research methods, data acquisition and storage, and advanced photographic practices. Students and the instructor are going to travel by van through seven UC NRS Reserves covering ground from Northern Mendocino County to the Eastern Sierra, down to the Salton Sea and back up through Big Sur. Class capacity limited to 11 students. $500 course fee (not including food).
