Description
Students concentrate on darkroom practices and explore visual ideas, directing their work toward individualized goals. Required work includes making photographic prints, reading historical and theoretical works, and examination of photographs. Students are billed a materials fee. May be repeated for credit.
Enrollment Requirements
Prerequisite(s): One course from Art 20I, 151, 156, 158, or 159; and two non-photography lower-division art studios from Art 15, 20G, 20H, 20J, 20K, 26, and Computational Media 25. Enrollment is restricted to art majors.

In summer, all prerequisites and restrictions are lifted.
