Description
Focuses on contemporary research in the psychology of human emotions. Special attention given to work in cognitive science, including psychology, linguistics, philosophy, and anthropology, on how emotions are central to understanding human action and mental life.
Enrollment Requirements
Prerequisite(s): course 100 and psychology and cognitive science majors and minors; or linguistics, philosophy, or anthropology majors. Prerequisites and restrictions waived for non-UCSC students.
Class Notes
In summer, prerequisites and restrictions are lifted for visiting students.
